registry cleaners, but it is a group of
users who is steadily increasing in
number. Designed for use with all recent
releases of the Windows operating system,
and is often said that Registry Easy is
the best registry tool available on the
open market, and it is of course these
claims that means it must be put through
an independent review to see just what
attributes and capabilities the registry
cleaner actually possess.

– Although not packed with
additional features, there are a number of
additional tools that are designed to get a
Windows registry working as it

that a back-up and restore
point is easy to create, prior
to any repair being undertaken,
all designed for added

The Test Results
Registry Easy can be
downloaded straight from the company’s
homepage, and is a very straightforward process
to undertake. Additionally on the same site
there is a free scan tool that will allow a
Windows registry to be examined for potential
errors.
After installation Registry Easy is very easy
to use, and is very intuitive with its
interface. Undertaking a scan of the computer
can be done with a simple click of a button,
and a quick scan followed. Following the
completion of the scan a list of errors is
produced, and then either an automatic or
manual repair of errors can be undertaken. In
the vast majority of cases it will be just a
case of letting the program undertake an
automatic repair. Our results clearly showed
that once we had restarted our machine that the
scan and repair had resulted in a much quicker
machine, additionally after a short period of
working on the computer we were pleased to see
that there were no more annoying error messages
being
produced.
Additional Observations
Registry Easy has only a few
additional features, and the most useful ones,
such as the back-up and restore and system
optimization, are the bare minimum you would
expect from a good registry cleaner. That being
said in most cases you buy a registry cleaner
for one purpose, to scan and repair a Windows
registry, and therefore most additional
features add little value. That being said we
were pleased with the additional safety
features that the back-up and restore feature
does add to ensure that no changes made will
cause and permanent damage.
Overall Impressions
The results of our testing has clearly shown
that Registry Easy is a good basic registry
cleaner and will quickly scan through and
repair a damaged Windows registry. It may not
be the best registry cleaner that we have ever
reviewed, this accolade still goes to RegCure
from ParetoLogic, but it safely does its work
so is a good entry level program to registry
tools.
